After 4 years of working in retail together and becoming best friends, it wasn't a surprise to most of our friends when we started dating or when we got engaged eleven months later.
Now we've been married for almost 10 years.
We eloped in downtown Nashville on St. Patrick's Day with a hand-fasting ceremony and our closest family members present.
It happened pretty quickly so we didn't have a videographer. Instead, I handed my mom my camera and told her to record what she could and then made the best out of it when I edited it all together later.
Its not necessarily a beautiful or cinematic professional wedding film, but its ours and we cherish it...

We are both big animals lovers. In fact, Brindle Film Co. is named after our 80lb rescued brindle pitbull, Juno.
Also lovingly referred to as Junebug, Chunky Butt, and Monkey.
I've had Juno since she was a puppy. She has been by my side through a divorce, moving out-of-state, meeting Jon, losing loved ones, and battling health issues.
She has an attitude and a stubbornness that Jon affectionately says
Juno has ultimately made me more compassionate and patient and she has an unconditional love and unwavering loyalty for me that I'll never be able to thank her for.
If you want to see said first wedding film ever, to see my cousins' wedding film.
but I quickly found a love for watching a moment take place and hearing the sounds and words that made the memory that much more meaningful. For me, there is a little bit of an adrenaline rush I get when capturing something as it happens versus just taking a pretty picture.
Throughout college, I was a professional photographer.
I photographed newborns, families, couples, and a handful of weddings. It was a hobby I had picked up after joining a local photography club with my mom when I was in high school.
Fast forward a few years, my cousin was getting married and I wanted to do something special and different for them, so I decided I would set my camera to video mode and film it for them.
